Translational Oncology in Academia and Industry Symposium
The University of Kansas Cancer Center, 2020 Early Phase Program continues to partner with the industry to have this intended to provide a unique way of exchanging scientific ideas and discuss opportunities to translate basic science discoveries into bedside care. This meeting is designed to build bridges for innovation between laboratory and clinical researchers in academia and key leaders in the industry.
This year we will have additional focus on our Cancer Center’s goal to expand access of innovative clinical investigations through early phase trials to our underserved population, rural in our catchment area in order to bridge the gap in healthcare disparity.
The meeting will include keynote presentation from the National Cancer Institute, who is a highly distinguished leader in Drug Development in Early Therapeutics.
Topics include breast, thoracic, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, head and neck, skin, hematologic, gynecologic and pediatric, including rare malignancies.
This symposium is designed for medical oncologists, radiation oncologist, surgical oncologist, hematologists, pathologists, basic scientists, oncology nurses, other clinicians and industry colleagues in the region.
This meeting will be held virtually.
